Why ListingSpec exists
Most Amazon design advice is recycled from other blog posts. We went and read Amazon’s own module guides instead, and found that a lot of what gets repeated is wrong.
Built to a spec, not to taste
A good looking A+ module that is the wrong shape on mobile is a broken A+ module. The value in these templates is not that they are pretty. It is that the same composition is built twice, at 2.44:1 and 4:3, with copy that fits the field limits.
Every number has a source
The spec reference marks each row DOCUMENTADO when the figure came from an Amazon-published document, and lists what we could not verify. Where the common advice disagrees with Amazon’s own PDF, we say so and show the PDF.
Rendered, not generated
Every template is produced from HTML and CSS rendered at an exact viewport, then measured back to confirm the output really is the size it claims. No AI image generation, because a generated picture cannot guarantee a pixel dimension or a character count.
